After going to the Rubicon last Oct with my pretty restored camp stove, I was pretty bummed at the end of the trip to find it had got scratched up pretty bad bouncing around in the back of the truck. I had it in a cardboard box and had it tightly wedged so it wouldn't get rattled around too much, and it still managed to get banged up a little.
It got me thinking that it would be cool to have a padded bag, like for a laptop, for my camp stoves. My wife and I are starting a company and we thought it might be a cool product to make and sell.
I have a pretty good collection of camp stoves for sizing.. but wanted to see if I was missing anything as far the what size bags we should look into.
I've got a slim green propane colmen one, like 99% of people use. I've got a 413E gas stove.
It seems to me those two are the most common sized stoves. I also have an old 20's or 30s colmen that's a bit bigger and has iron parts and Sears gas stove that's a total oddball size. But as far as the common sizes it seems like the 413 and the slim propane ones are the two sizes I see a ton of.
Any other really common sized stoves out there that I'm not thinking of?
