Only Gray was available a couple of years ago. I painted mine Ivory with SEM trim paint. Not sure which exact color I used.

Fantastic info. It’s hidden 99% of the time with the shade closed, so I suppose the color being slightly off with paint can’t be terrible. I’ll be looking to match my Oak interior with these trim pieces being a light tan.

Granted the fragile 25 year old plastics are a terrible basis to compare, but how were the new OEM pieces? Did they seem noticeably improved? I’ll be looking for all four.

They were just fine. I replaced all four without issue. Be prepared for the old ones to disintegrate even further.
 
Folks, am about to remove the remaining metal tabs after the front piece of trim broke and fell off. Can someone please confirm that the remaining metal tabs pull out straight downward? I tried pulling on them with needle nosed pliers and they didn't budge. I can of course pull harder but want to confirm before I possibly break something. Thanks!
