Kairos in Glen Lyn, VA (decent day tripper, ~1.5 hours from Roanoke)

Black Mountain in Harlan, KY (definitely more of an overnighter, 4h from Roanoke)

Some of the CLCC folks are doing GER this weekend, IIRC. They rented a cabin or two. There's also a lodge there with room for many. They see to really enjoy the place for the few years they've been going.
