It’s the first year anniversary for my 2013 LC200. I acquired my LC200 in Feb 2019. I have been holding back on upgrades and have acquired some upgrades parts for about a year. This new year, 2020, will the beginning of transformation year.

Till now, the LC200 is basically stock except AT tires upgrade to BFG KO2 275/70R18.

Stay tune for more upgrades coming in spring. 2020.

For the last 12 months, LC is my daily driver. I normally commute about 50 miles per day. Aside than maintenance, this rig has treat me well. I took it for some road trips to FL, VA & NY. Probably added 15k to it’s age. Aside I encounter one strange problem (fuel pump controller ecu), it’s been problem free. I like the fact the seat is warm & the steering wheel is warm to hold during those winter chill day. I probably got spoiled now.

This build will be based on overlanding vehicle with mild off-roading need. We love to travel to remote and camp. While mild off-roading needed when travel into the remote area.

I have the following parts waiting for installation.
  • Roof rack - Rhino Rack Pioneer
  • Drawers - Front Runner
  • Suspension - Ironman 4x4
  • Wheels/tires - TRD Rock Warrior

I’ve been using a mobile app to keep track of my mod list. It’s call Auto Modlist (not my app, but I do know the app owner).

I followed @cboyd fog light modification. Swap out the h16 halogen bulb with caliraised Tri-color LED h11 foglight bulb. The 10000 lumen do shine the road. I can switch the foglight color from white, amber & white/amber combo.

Since coronacation give me more wrench time, I got the roof rack installed. I’m using Rhino Rack Pioneer platform. Got the optional wind fairing too. It does cut down wind noise on high speed.

Coming along nicely!

I will say that tracking the cost of mods is a bad idea. Ignorance is bliss! ;)

More upgrade in progress. I’m installing a set of Ironman 4x4 foam cell pro 2” suspension kit with SPC UCA.

Order tailgate LED light set from @Brendan . Package got stuck in Australia for months due to covid pandemic. It’s finally arrived yesterday.

The installation instruction is right on. 1.5 hrs and I got light.

This mod is awesome. Order process is smooth and promptly. Installation instruction is spot on.

It’s been more than a month since my white beast undergoes some transformation. It’s back on the road with 2” lift & no KDSS lean. Braking is a huge improvement with EBC brakes upgrade, fresh fluid & SS brake hose.

A few more install & before 200LCDC event. Can’t wait till end of July.

Would you be willing to share more information about the drawers you used, and share a review of them?

@CharlieS this is the drawer system from Frontrunner outfitters.

Initial observation, it is very well made. I see some potential to use the side wing area. I always love front runner solution, but they don’t have much choice like ARB. I would love a roller top with drawer (use as fridge slide), but it’s not a show stopper.

It's a great looking system. Hope it treats you well.

The need for more lumen to bright/shine on the road/trail. I opt to install ditch light. Ditch bracket from CBI offroad and LED by Baja Designs.

Did you have to do any trimming on the windshield wiper valence?

@grinchy I have to dremel the plastic and use black RTV silicon to seal. Else, the bracket will press on the plastic.
