Mojave Desert for New Years

Looks like we'll be heading out for 4 beautiful days with the new trailer.

Heading out to the Yermo, Calico Area. Camping up in Mule canyon. Going to hit up Kelso Sand Dunes, Lava tubes, Early man site and possibly the Amboy crater again. Exploring dirt roads and pavement inbetween.

We had such a fun time last year for New Years out there, we are doing it again.

If anyone wants to join us.. lemme know. We are leaving Saturday and coming home on New Years day.

This will be a laid back, no real schedule type of run. Just getting used to the trailer and enjoying time away with friends.

Must be nice not having kids Dave. You can pick up and take off any time the work schedule allows. Sounds like another fun trip I'll have to enjoy from your pictures!!!

I have a friend getting married New Years Eve so I will be at a wedding.

I might be down for that. I come back from Ohio that Friday. It wouldn't take long to pack up my gear Saturday morning and head out there. What time were you planning on getting out there? Which way would you be traveling. Maybe we could meet up somewhere on the way out? It would be cool to take one last wheeling / camping trip before the year end.

We aren't heading out early. Probably 10-11am , maybe even noon if you need us too. No rush. This will be a low key run. No real hardcore wheelin.. i dont know if that matters to you with your built TJ? We can watch you go up the "gate keeper" hehehehe We have 2 other jeeps going so you won't feel out of place. I'll actually be the only cruiser lol

We'll be traveling up the 15 freeway from the 91.
