Another one for the day...

I've got moisture or water in the front camera. Right in the middle of the lens - annoying when the camera turns on and I see a big blur right in the middle. Must have happened during the car washes I've recently started to use. The water is clearly visible when looking at the camera from the front of the vehicle.

Anyone else encounter this? What's the best way to dry out the camera and seal it to prevent this from happening again?

Subscribed. Any cracks on the lens? Any signs of rock damage Around the module?

Mine also had condensation built up and it stuck around all winter. Finally dried up. I checked on getting a new one but it's $900+ 86790-60070 - Lexus Parts Now

Yikes, that's a crazy price. I guess I'll wait for mine to dry out, pull it, and see what I can do to waterproof it.

I've seen people DIY smoke their headlights by baking them in 200° F oven to soften the glue to seperate housing from internals. I wonder if the same thing would work here to re-seal the housing. Unfortunately it's a $900 experiment :p

Any idea if it’s within the camera itself or between the camera and the impact lens in front?

I just gave the housing on mine to another guy here on 'mud. To do that, I had to disassemble it. It just requires removal of a dozen-ish small screws.

I don't see a great way to get the outer lens off.
