Moab in October?

I'll be leaving either the 15th or 16th, coming back the 19th. Rodney will probably be going with me. We decided that our trip will have no obstructions to the pure love of 4 wheeling, so there will be no whining, no excuses, no wussing out, and no turning around -- make it or break it :) It will probably not be a very family friendly trip. My wife and daughter already told me they are not interested because the trails all look too dangerous.

We are talking about taking camping gear and staying just where ever we end up. Not sure how our trip will go, I want to see as much as possible, and don't want to base camp, so we will be all over the place... I figured it would be best for us to roll alone.

On the fence.... may wait until "Cruise Moab 2015" for my first Moab run.... might just go out there, do some camping, moderate trails and get some quality birdwatchin' in... ???

Nice. I like the idea of camping wherever you end up at the end of the day.

I think I am going to sit this one out. I'm a little worried about being in a group of only 2-3 trucks, and probably no drivers with moab experience.
Cruise Moab this spring might be a good idea.

Whoops...

All part of the game we play. Happy it wasn't worse.

I agree. The other side of the rock fin didn't have a hard spot to land. Would have been a long way down. Love my lap belts, because of that I was able to lean away from the impending crunch. Probably would have had a nasty head bruise otherwise. Funny how much stuff there is in your vehicle when you roll it.

Dude...what the heck are you doing? I know you are bummed about it. Glad you are okay. So how many does that make?

I guess you really could have used this Jeep accessory...
