Way cool. Is that tab sticking out the back for a pintle hook or a ball or what? Did he make the tub too?

Yep.

So when we last left off, it was 'two weeks' from going to the rocks....

right.....

So after some paint drama, aluminum front clip parts drama, and fun with a hammer on a perfect, rust free original paint 1978 hood, we are here fixing oil leaks on the 465 and adapter....

Oh, and the guy found a strait, clean hood from a ’69 with the chrome strip, and put that on…

Still needs exhaust and some other little crap..but it should be in the rocks here in a couple weeks, and then subsequently rolled over and smashed to s*** like everything else he has ever owned....

It was the only section of the 1980 Toyota pickup tailgate that was not rusted to s***....or bent and dented. ;)

Chris has built this himself from the tube frame up. I have done nothing more than supplied him with a few random Land Cruiser pieces and a couple other odds and ends....And an occasional prod to try and keep him going on it.

Should be fun when he gets this in the rocks.
