Honda Civic or Passat TDI.
100% agree Mike, and very pleased to see someone else who knows about VWs. I am curious if there's a reason you said Passat specifically though? Golf and Jetta, albeit smaller, also come in TDI.

If you're going to a get a diesel car, get a Jetta TDI. They get better gas mileage and are only slightly smaller.

Get the manual, not the automatic.

Also, one perk of the Jetta is that everyone will question your sexual preference. Always good to keep people on their toes!!!

Edit: found what I needed - delete.

Looking for some front coils from an 80-series or LX450. I'm told 93-94 is the sweet spot, but I will check out other years to see if they'll work. Anyone have anything?

Well, dang! All the sudden I'm coil rich!

Thanks to all you guys who have offered up coils. I would like to take them all for documentation purposes at least so other 4Runner users will know the colors and codes (yea, they're color-coded - I did not know...).

Steve wanted me to relay this to the club:

On my way to pick up the oil from Dave next weekend, I'm planning to stop by the steel place outside of LR and get another stick or two. If you'd like, you could post up or just spread the word however you want, that I can pick up some stuff if anyone needs something. What I want will have to be ordered first, so if anyone needs something, I can phone it in and make sure it's there when I go by. He can cut to length during pickup too if peeps want precut lengths (that would actually be easier to haul too).

Anyone have a set of take-off 80 shocks? Mainly, I'm speaking to Wes. I've checked with David and Tim - both tossed theirs.

Want to see about length before I order a factory set (rears) if I end up going with 80 coils. Curiosity is currently killin' this cat.

I do believe I tossed mine :(

37x12.50 R15 MTR's (old style) on beadlocks $1300obo (will seperate)

Here's the breakdown of what I have:

(4) tires mounted on 15x8 forged aluminum Champion Beadlocks; 25-65% tread on tires
(1) tire mounted on almost new 15x8 black steel wheel; 80% tread on tire
(2) tires unmounted and in need of vulcanization due to sidewall cuts; ~50% tread

One spare beadlock ring comes with the Champions. These beadlocks do NOT leak any air and ARE street legal.
- Beadlock rings are red powdercoated but were originally blue anodized. Plenty of rock rash on the rings but no bends.
Wheels are 6 on 5.5 Toyota pattern.
4 or 5 of the tires are fully siped.
No pics as of yet - working on it.

WTB: iPhone

Prefer 4, but would consider 3GS.

Verizon

Would like to be able to drop in my card and roll. This is just to get by until the next iPhone comes out. I have an upgrade, but I know that as soon as I commit to a phone, the new iPhone will come out. However, it gets old calling people for directions, weather, traffic reports, etc.

Got anything?
