Yeah Def.

But I still want to do a trip to Corolla. You guys will love it. One of my favorite places in the world.

And we need to schedule and advertise that trip. So this trip coming up that Wes scheduled on 18 January is just a trip to OBX not to Corolla?

Maybe we can do a camping trip when the weather warms up at a real offroad park.

I have been wanting to camp since last summer and I thought I can go camping this last fall but it did not happen due to work schedule and I don't know any safer place to camp in Virginia. I was planning to go camp at Northwest NSG but it was closed due to hunting season.

So if you know a safer place to camp or a real nice offroad park without bringing a piece of metal, then let's do it:D.

What's wrong with bringing metal? Hey those guys in GA are planning a trip to telico and they are talking about cabins and stuff next to the trails. Maybe a good place to go in spring. https://forum.ih8mud.com/ga-georgia-cruisers/254423-tellico-b-w-xmas-new-years.html

Tellico is farther than Uwharrie National Forest, NC.(5hours)

Oh yeah Noel i'm confussed about your statement to Josh. Corolla is OBX and is the best place to go in the winter.

:whoops: Sorry, my bad. I was thinking of something else like the very southern tip of Hatteras Island. So when we go on January, what part of OBX are we going?

Yeah ... The Outer Banks is From the Virginia Line all the way down to Ocracoke, maybe farther. Covers, from North to South:

Corova Beach/VA Border
Corolla
Duck
Kitty Hawk
Nags Head
Rodanthe
Frisco
Ocracoke

In Corolla, we can go back in the trails, because there is so much protected land, but anywhere else in the Outer Banks region, it is only beach driving (crowded and boring)

We can meet up at the border station or my house.

Highly recommend to meet at your house and from there we can convoy all the way to OBX:grinpimp: Men!, I'm stoke just visualizing the rows of Cruisers driving on 168:cool: We can do it like those Westerners do. Sure we don't have Pismo Beach or Moab but we have OBX:D

If there are alot of people we could meet at my house. there is a little more parking space.

Which ever house you guys decide, doesn't matter to me. Can't wait.

Who has a CB in their cruiser?

I have two CBs but one does not have the antenna. If you have an extra antenna one of the guys can use it.

Agreed, That would be good.

Meet at Chris's house. People might get stuck in my yard. j/k

I have 2 Motorola 2way hand helds I might have 2 more I can use.

Gents,

Is it okay with you gents, if a couple of guys at work would like to join us on our trip to OBX. One guy has a lifted 2006 Nissan Xterra and the other guys has a stock 2008 FJ Cruiser. Looks like they would like to "break-in" their rigs to find out their offroad capabilities and driver's skills. Well, we will see to that:grinpimp:. I guess the more people show up, the merrier:bounce:

Doesn't bother me.

Sounds good to me ... Remember my friend with the Lifted Land Rover? Well, he bought a Heep as a trail rig, and he will be joining us also ... I know not an FJ or an Xterra, but whatev .... He will be coming ...
