What brand did you get?
Happy to help with the install if you need a hand ( I have fond memories of bench pressing mine while a buddy threaded bolts )....

Merry Christmas.

The Cruiser is getting a new cylinder head, assorted gaskets, new throttle cable, new idler pulley, plugs, etc!

If all that gets her running as she should, I'll treat her to new leather seats and a DS seat cushion!

Hey thanks Sean, I may take you up on the offer. If I can get my sons help it should just be a two-man job at most. I would like to get another meet-n-greet to install new parts, if that happens I would do it then.

It's a Smittybilt 10K winch, I've heard that with the ARB bumper I'll need some spacers because of the shape of the bumper vs the length of the winch, but I'll see here soon, I'll test-fit sometime before new years.

Dan.

Hey Sean,
Merry Christmas to you too!

Yes, I'd love to set up a meet&greet/PM get together again. I havent met up with any of you guys in forever. I have to get a valve cover gasket done, so maybe I'll do that if we get a date set.

Hey Dan...Yep, same winch i have. You will defiantly need 1/2 inch spacers for it to fit. I also had to mod the solenoid box to make fit and be accessible. I went to Phillips Steel in LB to track down some material to cut down to fit. Again, happy to swing by and or take photos of my install if needed.

Once you get it in you will be happy with it. I have had a 3 "good" pulls with it and it performed like a champ.

Sounds good Brad. Lets let New Year's get behind us and we can figure something out. We will be up in Green Valley Lake if you get bored and are still up at your folk's place. Going to try to fart around Deep Creek or at least see how close we can get down to it tomorrow.

Santa's getting me a Slee shortbus :grinpimp:

Had a great Christmas weekend up in Big Bear with both sides of the family and taught most of my Nieces and Nephews how to snowboard!

Oh and my Cruiser got a 2" Iron Man lift just before going up to BB! Gained 2 1/2" front and 3" in back. Photos to come probably Friday when I wash it. She's a little dirty right now.
