The difference is likely due to the fact that the Weather channel forecast is based mostly on computer models while the National Wx Service has local forecasters who combine that information with local data and their experience with local weather patterns. Also, the local guys tend not to forecast rain chances beyond 2-3 days, unless they have a high confidence level in the computer models.

...it will be fun getting together either way...rain or shine...

my plan now is to bring hannah and jacob...not sure what time this will be but shooting for saturday during the daytime... We'll just hang out and visit for a while then head home.
