Funny how many of us are considering the same thing. I have a 2008 LX570 which is just where I want it...ill probably grab a 2020-2021 at some point in the future!

I won't speak for every one of us, but disappointment with the 250 series drove us over the goal. Nothing in the new vehicle market today quite fills the place of the 200, so we better grab another 200. They're all getting older and fewer by the day.Funny how many of us are considering the same thing. Congrats of finding one so clean and low miles with only one month of hunting. You really lucked out. Care to share how much you paid - or ballpark if you don't feel comfortable sharing exact numbers.Well, almost. I'm excited to show you my 2021, 34k mile LX570 that I've dubbedObsidian:

About a month ago, I started thinking about moving on from the 2008 LX that I basically made my whole personality for the last 10 years in favor of something cleaner, newer, and more stock. Then about three weeks ago, I started looking seriously. Because I've done this once already, I knew exactly what I was looking for:
I originally found a great example at Sewell in Dallas, L-certified with 50k miles and almost signed on the dotted line when I realized it was a two row so I doomed scrolled for a few days. Then I found this, a super low mile, 1 owner trade in Conroe Texas. This truck was bought in Oklahoma City, then moved to Houston and was serviced at Northside Lexas.
- Despite basically no mechanical differences, I wanted a final year 2021
- Southern truck, I looked in SoCal, Arizona, and Texas
- Black exterior, any interior other than parchment
- 3-row
I dispatched my homie @radman and he went out of his way to look at it the next day, gave it a colonoscopy and then a thumb's up. The truck is extremely clean other than some automatic carwash swirl marks and it had original Dunlops that were at 4/32" of tread. I put in a cash offer, hopped on a plane to IAH, had BBQ with Amir, and then started the 30+ hour drive northwest.

Houston to Seattle is a helluva drive but this was the ultimate way to do it.
Coming from a non-luxury package, early 2008, I cannot understate how big of an upgrade the 2016+ trucks are. Everything is nicer, quieter, and more refined. And stock, I averaged 18-19 mpg the whole way back.

Killer deal. Especially on a TX truck.
boy, did I go deep! I pulled all the engine plastics, door sills, and dug all the gold out from under the front seat voids. She's a beaute, clark!I dispatched my homie @radman and he went out of his way to look at it the next day, gave it a colonoscopy and then a thumb's up
Agreed. I think I'm going towards making the 2008 LX570 the "adeventure" vehicle and expanding the stable to include a 2008-2021 Tundra instead.I won't speak for every one of us, but disappointment with the 250 series drove us over the goal. Awesome! Congrats! I loved your last truck, looking forward to seeing what you do next.
There are open switch blanks down by the TPMS reset switch. You can’t see them to well, but for an on/off thing like air, easy enough to feel.
Also, you did all that plumbing and still have to open the hood? Why not poke the air fitting out forward somewhere thru the grill?

This system is much nicer than GROM. Labeled cables, great instructions on YouTube and extremely quick boot up.
Did you do the Premium touchscreen conversion or the base upgrade?Hamilton motors CarPlay upgrade
