Does anyone happen to know the max dimensions available to put an amp under the pass seat where the stock one went?

I'm looking for a 4 or 5 channel to go there to power some front 6.5s and a pair of 8" subs.

I don't have the pass seat installed currently, plus it's cold and dark out and I thought someone might have already measured.

Thanks!

I've got two JL Audio amps stuffed under the passenger seat: 350w & 500w. It was a biotch to fit...they barely fit...but they fit.

There is a little room to spare but the amp has to be pulled out to access the terminals. The ridges the amp sits between are plastic and could be trimmed to gain more room.

I cut a piece of card board yesterday with the dimensions of the Alpine PDX-V9 which is a 5-channel amp. I moved the seat (our driver seat) forward and up and put the cardboard over the factory amp.
It is slightly wider but it will fit.
That one is 259mm x 192mm from memory.

Wow can't believe you can fit both!!

I'm looking at a kenwood 900-5 which should fit ok. Just worried about using a class D to power everything.

How did you guys install them under there? Remove the factory amp and its bracket and then build something to set the new amp on?

Alpine PDX-5 fits fine under the seat. You won't even need to remove the seat. I left the factory Mark Levinson amp in too... The PX-5 is the same size as the PDX-V9.
