Aight, I have enough models queued up to last through winter (bought 2 cheapies to practice on, one of which is a Soarer). Super happy to have this one waiting:

Sorry for spamming this thread with this nonsense.

This BJ should be a fun build, however it just does not have the desired level of detail (e.g. no engine to build). Italeri, Aoshima, Revell Germany just do not match up with Tamiya, Hasegawa, and even the Meng model - which is 1:35 and incredibly detailed.

When my parents came over from the UK, they brought over a Majorette J43 I'd got in 1989 or 1991 that my brother and nephew dug out of the toy box when they'd been visiting (they're also based in Aus, so for nephew raiding Dad and Uncles toy boxes is the best thing ever)

Majorette have re-released the casting as well recently

Looked for those for a while, but kept getting there when the peg had been raided already; now just given up as I think the stock has moved through here in Aus.

If you are where your sig says you are. Maybe too far to ship my second too.
Yep, I am :(

Postage would be a killer for just one, but thank you very much for the offer!

BUT... I might be able to work something out with a mate who is American but lives in Aus - I can't remember when he was heading back over to the USA this year...

Let me know if you work something out
Getting close - his Mum's coming over in September and he's going over in October, should be able to make something work.

I was in one of my favorite gun shops today, and noticed this 40 on top of the safe behind the counter. Asked the owner what the imposts cue of it was, thinking maybe he was a 40 owner. He said he didn’t know why it was there and gave it to me.

I have the same one. I bought that thinking it was the only 40 I could afford at the time.

My BJ44 model is coming along. I opted to go softtop, cut out the sides and am making fabric panels with windows. Have an 8274 for the front, seats for the rear, and a s***ton more work to do (the body is going to kill me). O and it has "steering" - disconnected from the steering wheel.

Keep finding the rest of those (three Jeeps and three Hummers this week) but no 60s...

I received a die cast model/toy of 76 series Cruiser for Christmas from our youngest daughter. It is not a MatchBox or Hot Wheels, but she ordered it from Walmart. Nice thought and added to our limited collection. Mentioning it here in case there is any interest.
