Just to let everyone know Matchbox has a "68" FJ40 on the toy shelves right now. But we all know it's not a 68... but it does have the diesel badging... pretty nice for $0.98 I've picked up 2 already...

It does look a little more like the Brazilian verision Banderante (sp?).

I just picked up the only two they had at wally world about an hour ago. One to play with, and one to keep tucked away...

My only complaints....

1) No sky blue
2) She doesn't flex too well out of the box, maybe a SOA in the future...

I hit the trail this morning to track down the '68 FJ40 from matchbox.

I hit the following stores
Walmart - Glenwood - No singles, 2 10 packs with a 40 - Purchased 1 10 pack
Target - Glenwood - 1 Single, 2 10 packs with a 40 - Purchased 1 single
Walmart - Brier Creek - 1 Single, 3 10 packs with a 40 - Purchased 1 single and 1 GT3 RS
Target - Brier Creek - No singles and no 10 packs
Walmart - Morrisville - 1 Single, 3 10 packs with a 40 - Purchase 1 single and 1 GT3 RS

While I was there I noticed the Porsche GT3 RS so I purchased 2 of those as well.

Removed the 40 from the 10 pack for the desk and opened 1 GT3 RS for the desk.

I am keeping a single in a package. I gave 1 away to a friend. I have 1 more to give back to the ONSC crew so it looks like it goes to Little Joe. The 1 in the ten pack is for desk top wheeling.
