So my ML stereo has failed.

My truck is a 2003 LX 470 with rear entertainment

My issue is whether the amp is bad or the radio receiver itself.

I have no sound from any speakers at all. When I hit seek on the radio it just keeps scrolling. It never will settle on a station. Also my bass treble fade and balance are all grayed out.

I hooked up a spare infinity 6x9 to the outputs at the back of the stereo and still no sound, that makes me think it's the receiver.

Most of all posts I've seen say amplifier, but they aren't the same vehicle and not all have the same symptoms.


The receIver and amp are the same price. So I'd prefer not to shotgun this repair if I can help it.

If anyone has an amp they could send me for just to try out and return back immediately. My amp is already exposed it will be a 10 second ordeal. I will pay $50 plus the cost of shipping.

I have the same issue. Did you come to any conclusions on what the issue is? I have 5 of the six front row speakers but nothing else.

The biggest failure was ever offering the ML system.

I did not have those exact symptoms that you are describing, but did have the ML amp refurbished by United Radio.
