Saw your truck at ACC early last week while I was there, I believe. I'm getting a bit jealous of that goody list. Need to add air lockers to it though. can't wait I see it finished, and have you hitting the trails with us !!!!

In progress...

Here's some pics from ACC...
Head out for service:

If anybody can do it and do it right it's ACC. Those guys are awesome. Have fun with the truck and make sure to post some action pics after it's done!!!

So I went to visit ACC today, and ended up adding:

- Replacement A/C compressor
- 33X10.50X15 BFG KM2s
- Black powder coating on on the stock wheels, because I hate chrome.

I knew I shouldn't have visited... I have willpower issues...

Nice....same color and year as my first 60!

The guys at ACC do great work, you will be very happy with the result.
Was this a local GA truck?

I spy Aussie mirrors

Last PO was local (Kennesaw), but I believe the truck spent most of its life in TX.

Yup - they were on there when I bought it, but I have to snug up the passenger side a bit, the lens shivers like crazy at idle, but that is probably because I was running with three burned exhaust valves and one dead cylinder... all the while still getting about 13 MPG!

Current condition... itching to get her out on a trail...

Head is back in, lift done, tires/wheels done, rack 90% installed (waiting on the correct feet to be delievered), brake booster installed (fingers crossed that the diaphragm is good), clutch slave cylinder done... getting close!!

:bounce2::clap::steer:

I am already happy - they are great guys, spend time talking to me to help me learn more about my truck... Everyone I've met there, Michael, Brian, Peter, Joe are the nicest guys and always answer my stupid questions with pleasure. I want to do more stuff myself in the future but time and space is in short supply for me right now. I'm a better maintainer than builder... ;)

Really glad I didn't jump on the first shop I visited, and waited until I met the ACC team!

im in the same boat you're in, don't really know how to do big projects, but love learning at ACC.
Saw your truck again on Monday, that baja rack is a lot stouter than i thought, and that stock powder coated rim/KM2 combo looks MEAN!! can't wait to meet ya out on the trails so you can rough em up a little haha

Are you going to the ACC event on 11/2-11/4? You should - we can scuff 'em up there!

Yep, I'm heading up there either late friday night or very early saturday morning. Should be a 3-4 truck convoy with me if all goes well, you can join us and give us something new and pretty to look at while we drive 3.5 hours
we can hit the trails with peter, he doesn't like to mess up his taco, especially after that incident with the MARTA bus, but I've heard he will definitely sling it around. Should be a ton of fun!

I'll have to figure out logistics - will have the wife and kids and maybe dogs with me. Nothing ever goes according to schedule with that level of chaos. I like the idea though!!!
