I got a y and cat a couple of years ago. And the rear Y flange was a bit off at an angle. If I tried to bend it over it would cause an alignment issue. The problem is I got it to work and seal up. But that extra angle is blowing the gasket up over time. I have put three gaskets in it now. I even found one that is a bit thicker that seemed to last a little longer. And I have tried all types of those extra high temp sealants. All will work for a little while. But I’m tired of dealing with this crap.
I at a loss of what to try next other than cutting and welding. I was thinking i could cut around most of the way. And pull/hammer it flat to the header then take to a welder.

Anyone got any better ideas? Really sux to have to pull all this off again. But I don’t have any other ideas
