They let you roll around legally with shotguns in California?
Dude of course. It just can't be loaded and ammo needs to be separately stored. Hell you can open carry in CA now so long as it's not loaded but that's for the asshats.

Sure as long and it is disassembled and the ammo is in a separate car and both are locked in individual cases in different time zones.
That's just silly and pointless to do. Your right about the asshats on that one. Better off having a baseball to throw if needed.Dude of course. It just can't be loaded and ammo needs to be separately stored. Hell you can open carry in CA now so long as it's not loaded but that's for the asshats.
@oilbrnr, you would be shocked what you can fit in the lid. I think it's a great cost to benefit in my opinion. I want drawers as well but for different reasons. Here's what is in mine...
Tailgate contents
- crowbar
- SC wrench
- spare hoses and clamps
- tire repair kit
- spare belts
- bailing wire
- gerber axe
- air chucks/tools
- ARB air gauge/chuck
- SOG shovel
- Benchmade fixed blade knife
- Jumper cables
- 1/2" breaker bar
- 3/8" torque wrench
- 4 ratchet straps
- 2 bungee cords
- air hose
1/2" breaker bar? what are you breaking into that requires a breaker bar that large? even autozone does not rent out 1/2" breaker bars!
