Took my dear elephant on a work trip yesterday and despite new UCA, LCA, Sway bar end links, outer tie rods, wheel bearings, new tires, balanced and aligned, there’s is still a jittery feeling on small road imperfections. I-35 in Texas is full of these small imperfections.

Anywhoo, brought out the coffee for some cruiser-yoga this morning and kinda surprised to see daylight between rubber and metal outer on these lower strut bushings. Before I order oem struts that come with bushings, aka cough up the $$, anyone can confirm that these need to be replaced?

I ordered lexus lx 570 struts from belle Lexus. The prices were great and free shipping. Just received an email this morning that there is a parts sale.

I also had mounts, cushions, and globes from impex Japan. I had them replaced at 170k miles. My struts were leaking.

Yeah, definitely not supposed to be like that. Sadly the bushings aren't available separately.

Gulp. Belle lexus discounts and free shipping helped a bit.
I have one spare metal tin of AHC fluid, maybe buy another locally?

I had three cans on hand. The shop used 2.5 cans. I also had the globes replaced. So a good flush.

Knowing they’re basically hollow shafts with a rod, I’m just here to absorb y’all. 🤪

Found my backup stash from Black Friday sale last year. I have 4 untouched cans (4x2.5L) that wifey doesn’t know about 😂😂😂
