I’m gonna get the rig back tomorrow and just start with the globes, and address the ABS when and if it seems to be an actual problem. My understanding, after speaking to a friend with mechanical experience, is that the ABS is unlikely to be an immediate issue. I’ll get the fault codes the mechanic noted and go from there…
 
Can’t comment as to the brake issues as I have yet to go through it yet but for the globes I did not need to jack or jack stand the car.
That’s nice. The guides I saw/read all had the rig elevated for ease of access / safety when the pressure drops, so I just picked the same gear up at Harbor Freight.
 
You could put the truck on ramps, but it’s not necessary. You cannot jack it and use jackstands on the frame because you need the truck to settle to drain the fluid.

Gotcha, that makes sense — I did see that. I got the jacks mainly to help with the bushings I need to replace (additional job). But thanks for the clarity on that!
