Just awesome!

Sounds like you may have tried on one with AHC but weren't able to fit them. Any advice for an AHC owner trying to fit larger tires? Currently running 285/65R18 on the TRD BBS forged w/ a 47 offset. Clearing the UCA but wondering how much more room I have in the wheel well. Would really like 295/70R18.

We have not had the opportunity to play with an AHC truck. We mentioned it since, different fromt first annouched, you can now buy any of the trim levels of the LX600 without AHC, maybe with the exception of the Ultra Luxury. Catch is it is going to be difficult to find one since dealers just check the box they want AHC. Defeating the AHC Is going to be pretty much impossible on these new trucks.

What made this work is the combination of the Durabumps and some trimming. Also SPC arms allow us to manipulate the position of the tires in the wheelwell to get max clearance.

How much trimming was needed? Thank you for all the info!

I like the new braid wheels
I am thinking of getting this exact wheel and tire setup for my 300.

Hey guys, first post here. My LX600 is arriving in Oct and I want to get new wheels ready for it's arrival! Do you think I could fit these BBS wheels with perhaps a 275/60/20 or 285/60/20 with just standard AHC? Only thing is that offset is +12 so concerned it might poke too much.

My experience with that size tire is on page 7 of the thread above. still enough room for maybe another 0.5-1 inch of tire or greater width/backspace.

The 275/60 will fit no problem at all. The +12 offset will poke out substantially. That’s almost 2 inches more than OEM.

At the local camping exhibition
Everything car related on display was pretty much for the 300 series.

UPDATE: I gave the Vossen HF6-4s 30 offset a try. I installed Continental Terrian Contact A/T 275/55/20 on two wheels and mounted them to see how far they stuck past the fenders. There was some slight poke (see photos) but not as much as I expected.

I then asked the tire shop to mount the Continental Terrian Contact A/Ts on the JAOS 20-inch wheels with a 55 offset. The JAOS Tribe Cross wheels fit perfectly and did not stick out past the fender. I could have gone with a 285/55/20 tire, but Continental doesn't make this tire in that size. I spend about 90% of my time on pavement, usually in light mud and gravel when off-road. Therefore, I didn't need to go with an aggressive all-terrain tire. My goal was to keep the ride quality as close to stock as possible.

I am pleased with the fitment of the JAOS wheels. JAOS only offers the wheels in two colors: Matte Gun Metal Metallic and Titanium Gold. The Matte Gun Metal Metallic is darker in person than shown on the internet. I prefer more of a BMW Silver Color and wish that would have been an option.

The JAOS wheels come with two different offsets. The 55 offset is for a vehicle without fender flares, and the 38 offset is for an LX with flares. I had to order the wheels from an online retailer located in Japan. If you want to order these wheels, please send me a message, and I will provide the retailer's name.

I am selling the Vossen HF6-4s with the 30 offset at a discounted price. The Vossen HF6-4 is a complete set of four wheels with all hardware (Vossen Center Caps, Vossen Lug Nuts with a wheel lock). Two wheels had tires mounted, but they never saw any road use. They will come in the original boxes, and I will ship them. The price is $2,300 shipped in the contiguous USA.

Looks great. I did order the Jaos from https://www.blackhawkjapan.com/; if anyone is looking, their process was flawless. I went gold as well. Overall the wheels look amazing and I'm excited with the outcome.

I tried 285/50 R22 Ridge Grapplers vut they rubbed the top of the suspension.

These are 285/50 R22 Toyo Open Country 3's. There is no rubbing except for some contact between the tread on the sidewall and the top of the suspension tower (may not have that terminolgy right) at max turn. Back off just a little and there View attachment 3290244View attachment 3290245View attachment 3290248
What are your thoughts now that you’ve had this setup for a while? I’m thinking of doing the same tires.

I ditched the 22's and went down to 18's. The ride is pretty rough with the AT's on 22's and 22's are not really good for doing anything offroad. I'm running 285/65R18 Wildpeak AT's now and the ride is great. Had it in some sand and it did great. I'd really like to fit some 295/70R18's on but haven't tried yet.

I am running a second set of tires for snow. Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10, 275/55R20, on the 2022+ Tundra TRD Off-Road 20" wheels. The OEM Lexus center caps fit perfectly.

Your wheels look great!

Love the Swisstrax too!
