I can't find my toolkit. Moving.

Anyone have any tips to lower the spare without the hook and extensions?

Alright thanks.

North Ft Worth/Keller come through for me.

Seriously if anyone nearby sees this I could use the help

Local salvage yard...

Any Toyota dealer near by you can go to for the part(s)?
I'd rather not purchase because I know I have the kit somewhere.

As for them helping me out in the service dept, I can't since the truck can't currently be driven.

I’m in Frisco. I might be able to help tomorrow around lunch. PM your number and I’ll text you in the AM.

Generous of you. Thanks. But Frisco is a long way, and since I can't drive the truck, I wouldn't be able to make up the distance by coming to you.

Now if you happen to travel out this way for some reason, then definitely let me know

I just use a square rod with a screw going through it at the end to make a little tab to bite. Works fine for the hundy. Used a piece of ground rebar for the f250. None of my used trucks came with the tools

Tire shops, like Discount Tire, have universal tool sets for this. Just stop by one.

You can also buy new or find a parts rig in a salvage yard.. Get the whole kit.

BTW: You did look behind the cover, in LH rear 1/4 that hold jack and also in RH 1/4 compartments!
