Petty sure I'm running in OD, but questioning.

Based on butt dyno, seems that unlocking the CDL afforded a taller gear, presumably OD. It's an improvement, nonetheless, due to not requiring shifting back to 4H on less intense portions.

@ LandCruiserPhil,

Any further observations on the motor mount issue?

Overreaction on my part...motor moves a lot more with this mod enough for my aftermarket exhaust to make contact under heavy load. :o

You can test for OD in LR by hitting the OD button at 30mph. :D

Well, got Robbie to install my low range set up as well as a part time set up.

We replaced every single bearing and oil seal.

And, while I was at it, I went with a new A343F tranny too.

:grinpimp: :wrench:

Install next weekend.

:)

Which part time setup did you end up with?

No neck snapping shifts for you!

Anything special mods necessary when upgrading to an A343F or were you already on board with a A343F?

and this is to be retired after Dusy?
Your must just mean the carcass for as much love as the drivetrain has seen :D

It's a hit & miss with some 80s. I have OD in 4Low but some don't. Not sure why that is.

You have the wrong transmission. :hillbilly:
