Thanks man, I have lined up to meet him on next Friday so I am figuring on driving up there picking them up and then trying to figure out how I will mount them. Looks like the hardest part is going to be breaking my tires off, and remounting them.
However if you want to ride out to gueydan on the weekend and give a hand, feel free![]()
Yep my nephew Jeremy is the proud owner of a Taco. Yes he what to get in the club. This Taco will be up for sale this week. I spoke with him yesterday for an hour or so and he's trading it in on a new TRD package Tundra. This Taco is sweeeetHe just had it dyno'd and has a custom picggy back on the ECU for the supercharger. He'd be willing to do a consignment sale at the dealership if interested and he'd like to see it go to someone who can appreciate the rig. He says some who buys it off the street won't know what to do with it in regards to programming and changing the maps. He work private security over seas so it only has 68,000 miles he wheeled it at Moab, Hot Springs, North Carolina and other places and he said it does well. Not a dent on the truck he said the only damage it ever had to it was the factory front bumper got caught on a rock in Moab and he replaced it with the ARB. I'll post the other info when he emails it to me.

You will have to go with a Hysteer kit w/ your IFS steering box, your 83 axle was orginally push pull steering. I am sure Josh would trade his steering parts for your IFS box.does anyone have a passenger steering arm for an 83 pickup? or some of the aftermartket steering arms?
i didnt notice that the axle i bought was missing this important piece.

i was thinking i was going to be able to make something, but after i really looked at it the tried and try is correct.
Josh do you have power steering on your 4Runner ?
I have a friend of the family that is looking for a Fj40. What we are looking for is between the years 76-84. Good running order little rust to none. Has a hard top in good shape. I would pefer it to be original paint. Engine could be re built. It would be nice to still have the smog equipment installed. This 40 will be living in TN so I don't know the laws for inspections. He is not in a rush.
there are a few on Ebay 12/18 K![]()
