Since this is also the wanted section, does anyone know where I might find a brake booster from a 79-83 Hilux?

Brian

If it is not interchangeable with a U.S. model, I doubt anyone will have one in the BSLCA. I buy my non U.S. parts from SOR. I have been changing out brake boosters on my non U.S. Land Cruiser once a year with Chinese junk and broke down and ordered a OEM from SOR last week. It was around $75 bucks and shipping was $12 for 3 day. Hope this helps.

The booster I am looking for is from a standard U.S. model 79-83 4x4 mini truck. Everything I've read said this is the booster to use in an early 40 with the stiffening rib on the firewall.

i need 5 steel wheels for a 8-80 to 83 fj40 or fj60 steel wheels anyone???????????

i have 4 16" that im going to be selling very soon. tires should only be used for rolling around the yard.

Can't help you but I don't think the steel wheels were an option for a FJ-60........or at least for the domestic U.S. market. I think Larry or some of the other guys may know the price for a new set from the dealership. Good luck and buy me a set too.:flipoff2: I can't stand my fugly wagon wheels.:p It is either you or I will ask Obama.

any one going to be upgrading the front control arms on their 80? if so let me know i may want the old ones.

I almost did last week but for $865 I couldn't do it. As it was I got the DC front DS. I had picked up a used set of Manafre drop bracket for $100 a while back and decided to use them. Besides being lower to knock around on things it put my alignment where it needed to be and it tracks better on the road than it ever has. I'll wait until some other vendors come out with some reasonable arms. Look in the classifieds where some of the guys are parting 80's.

WANTED ONE 32" mudgrip tire for 15" rim to be used as a spare. I'm picking up a set of 4 from the owner he has 5 but will not separate unless I show up with a spare for him. I would like to have 5 instead of 4. Anyone have one laying around or know of where I could find one (used tire shop etc.) Thanks Albert

If you don't come up with one here Albert the used tire place on Pinhook next to the Circle K usually gets some decent used tires. I use him when I need to swap around tires and etc. I'll keep my eye out.
