Freakishly big, and the front lift is kinda janky. Love the interior but the odometer is showing 339k. 42"tsl bedlinen paint.

More pics. Front lift blocks and booger welded track bar mount. I just realized it has a metric speedometer.

Kind of janky?

Hmmm... constructed with african ingenuity?

Edit: and i just realized that with my runner I have no room to talk. But even I wont run front blocks.

Once you reverse everything the previous owner did it looks like a great candidate for a build :) If you got it for the right price Josh and swapped over your running gear the body looks it decent shape. Just don't carry over the electrical gremlins :D

I am very sleep deprived right now. in the mornign I am going to see if I can get the money together. I cant get my gigantic ass trailer in and out of the tiny parkinglot this thing is at and even if I could I cant physicly get into the truck.... I tried. It was embarrassing.

If it had sliders on it I could just go from the tire to the door but it is just a hair to far for me to get as is.

Assuming I get it step one: Swapping axles and tires under it since both of my axles are locked, getting rid of the blocks and body lift, Dehacking the trackbar mount and saving up for another hi steer and some streetable mud tires. Keep it nice, have a truck I could drive to places and wheel mildly. I really miss driving my 4runner on the road more than I can say.

Step 2: put these deeper geared axles and 42s under my current 4runner scrap the body lower it as much as i can while still having a little uptravel, build formula toyota style cage, save for rear locker and propane kit. have a buggy I can beat like a redheaded stepchild. if axles break call 100DollarMan on pirate and get a set of rockwells for it. (now you know I have stepped fully into pipe-dream land)

Step 3: Appreciate the behemoth trailer for once since buying it since it would fit both rigs AND my camper assuming I would want both rigs at one event ever. My line of thinking is the buggy to run trails, the new 4runner to run around town and leave the towrig hooked to the trailer.

really step one is the most realistic part of my 3 step plan....

I like the 3 step plan and pipe-dreams certainly nothing wrong with that bud. After you took the best of both and made one good rig you could always put all the other stuff on the other and sell it for some upgrade cash :)

:( well deal fell through on the 4runner. Looking at it minus the sleep deprivation the interior is rougher than it looked. Hvac controls busted in. In the back once I dropped the tailgait it looked like a pig had been butchered in it. It drove like a cow on skates, all 4 tires are dryrotted, you can't open the truck from the inside, and the transmission has so much slop you gave almost no idea what heat you are getting. Engine had good pep and that's the only good.

Offered him 2k, what i would have been willing to pay for the engine and body but he turned me down.

Sorry it didn't work out bud, he still may end up calling you back :)

Sorry to hear that it fell through on that runner.

I'd love to see you bring two rigs, then maybe you could wheel for a whole event!

 Just kidding. Maybe he'll come back to you. I think $3500 is a little high for what it is.

Whoa. Explain that torque bar setup in the front please....
