Works for the RHD crowd but not the lefty's.

After looking at that link I think I would live to get my hands on a rear shelf as well. Would be cool when I'm sleeping inside the truck. :hhmm:

My interest is perked, as well.

Hard liner.

Just got of the phone with a guy who makes this console.

He has a bit of hard time dealing with the manufacturer as he has small orders and they dont want to deal with small orders and color is limited to black or white fast production or Grey if he waits until somebody puts big order for Grey color.

On a good side. He will send me more pictures tomorrow and Google SketchUp file to see if i can get it produced locally in North America.

And if it will be produced locally than we can choose color and what ever we want after i am done finalizing deal with licensing.

Currently the material is Grey ABS Plastic and Silicone Edge Trim.

He will send one console for hard ceiling in 2-3 weeks to me.

So if anybody has a knowledge of plastic molding or has contacts for manufacturing let me know.

I'm interested. I believe my 1990 HDJ81 has a soft headliner in brown. But I also have the altimeter/compass option (that I don't mind ditching).

1 din stereo or CD radio can be installed in the middle

1 mold will work on both soft or hard ceiling it is only a difference of how much opening will have to be trimmed. Hard ceiling bigger opening.

I would almost suggest getting them in black then its easier to do a production run. Then have the two SEM colour match codes for the tan and grey and let the owners source and paint the parts. Would save manufacturing time and possible cost, I would also be surprised if any plastic colour was a match.

In regardless.

My thoughts exactly!! I can paint just fine. I would possibly cover mine with fabric anyway.

In regardless as well.

My ceiling is like the one in the pictures here. Is that hard or soft?

I'd be in. I don't even care about the color. I would paint to match. I like the possibility of using different visors.

After seeing more pics of it I really want one now.

In regardless of colour.

Black is fine!
