My 80-series based project...

Essentially an 80 series chassis with maybe ~2" of lift in front ( from weight reduction but stock springs) and less than 1" of rear lift ( depending on final weight ). It is running a 40" tire with 6" uptravel in front and about ~5" on the rear suspension. What is left of the FJ40 tub is as low on the chassis as possible with most of the forward body mount hat channel structure intact. The engine is raised in the chassis to give it a flat to the frame belly profile and clear the front driveshaft at full bump.

If you wanted to get a little more exotic with the engine intake, the body could be lowered another 1-2" on the frame. The grill would have to be reworked to fit vertically, and the front fenders would have to be frenched into the hood probably.
