Anyone know how I can get in touch with Shane Fowler (geneseemtn)? He sold what appears to be fake Amsteel Blue cable and I want to discuss the matter with him. He has not returned my emails or PMs here on mud. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I found a phone number for him (303-588-2088) and he is refusing to accept a return. The rope is exactly as he sent it to me. All I did was photograph it - and get a pretty consistent consensus that there are serious issues with the rope: it is likely NOT genuine Amsteel AND it is woven in a way that could make it fail...

I tried to talk to him man to man but he isn't going to do the right thing. I even offered to eat the shipping both ways... If I were closer I would go and talk to him in person.

I just hope that someone else that he sold this stuff to doesn't get hurt.
