looking for a project piggy

As the tittle says, im looking for a project pig. I had one lined up a few years ago, but i couldnt commit to it. After that i got into sportcars etc, had a mitsu montero, now another pickup and a motorcycle, but man im jonesing for a fj55. If you guys could point me in the right direction i would greatly apreciate it. I dont really care about the condition as long as its not too far gone. Ill be ripping it apart anyways.

Any tips would be greatly apreciated too.

Edit: meant to point out that the southeast is preferable, im in S. Carolina

Hey GhostRider, there are so many just on the classifieds here in this area and the regular classifieds. The way I found the one that I'm getting ready to go get was I just started going on Craigslist.com and searching every city within 1000 miles of myself. It's kinda time consuming but I think it is worth it. The Pig that I found looks like it's going to be a really good project. Hope this helps.

trollhole, mostly a little bit of everything. Rust doesnt really bother me that much, im expecting it on a pig.

there's one in oxford ms a guy started one here and had to quit. most rust is cut out. i know it runs and the frame and body mounts look great. never saw the hood but he said he would look for a new one. the doors are stripped down to metal and he said he has all weather stripping except back gate and window. new 60 series chrome wheels with new tires. the whole body has been primed a year ago but it has been exposed for a year and showing surface rust. it has a 2f and i think its a good project pig. call Patrick Cain at Cain's auto body 662 236 3123

IMO....Clemson55 should be a good one for a DD or trail rig and it come from a fellow mudder who has done most of the hard stuff on it........

I looked at a 72 here in Boise and the guy came down to $800 for me and I think he still has it. All original Floors are in good shape but it has the usual body rust. Let me know.
