Looking for a PN for cigarette lighter accessory bulb and socket.

Looking for a PN for the cigarette lighter light bulb and lamp socket that are attached to the cigarette lighter. The light bulb illuminates the cigarette lighter bezel at night. This is for a 1993 HZJ77. I know it’s not an important piece but I’d like to see the bezel lit up.

Try looking at an on-line parts catalog, like Partsouq. You can put in your VIN and drill down to find it. I couldn't find an HZJ77 listed in the Canadian market list, but his is a 75 bulb...now I see in your sig. its a JDM. 24v or 12v?

Thank you for that link and I found it. The bulb is called an

“ASHTRAY RECEPTACLE LAMP BULB”​

I guess it illuminates the cigarette lighter bezel and the ashtray when the ashtray is pulled open. Next is to try and cross reference the Toyota bulb number to a standard bulb size (could be a 74?) Then need to find a replacement socket as it doesn’t look like the socket is a separate part (and I don’t want to buy an entire cigarette lighter assembly). The bulb part number is 90981-16020 for the cig lighter assy bulb. I have spares ordered for myself here.

This is great! Thank you! Next, the socket for the bulb is dead (I’ve checked with a multimeter). i think I likely mostly burnt the contacts out - I have continuity but no 24V power at the socket when the wiring harness is connected, And I can’t pull the contacts out of the socket to resolder. So I think I need a new socket. As far as replacing the bulb, I will look for a green 24V LED. Hopefully I can find an actual bulb size or non-Toyota through an online cross reference and go from there. Maybe with a non-Toyota bulb size I can find a matching socket. I will also continue to search for a Toyota socket using the Toyota bulb number.

Honestly I think you would be better off just ordering the whole cig lighter assembly and be done with it. They are not that expensive.

I also have this in my parts bin as well somewhere. P/N is 85500-90K00. Easy to find on Ebay.

Thanks for the PN for the entire cigarette lighter assembly. I didn’t see any used ones on eBay - new ones from Japan cost about $85 Canadian delivered (plus any potential duties). So going new is certainly an option that works and is easy to do, but I was hoping to do this job quite a bit cheaper, I’ll continue looking for a socket and LED bulbs for now.
