Thanks for a he helpful NFL!Per Toyota chief Engineer these vehicles are engineered to last 25 years in a 3rd world country. If maintenance by the book drive train should be good for over 500k miles +. There is a Tundra that did over 1000000 miles. Yes along the way you will have to replace water pumps, starters, etc.
That should have been infoThanks for a he helpful NFL!
190,000. Louisiana weather. When not on the road in garage.
Another word of advice, for service be cautious of The dealer. They charge double+ of what dealers in the lower 48 charge (AK tax...) and their work has been iffy: they stripped out my oil pan, “lost” some of my skid guards then denied it, one time I’m fairly sure they forgot to put oil back in after an oil change. Now that they also bought the Mercedes dealer their service has gone from good to terrible. So bad multiple times I won’t ever go back there which is a shame because they did a great job when Cal owned it for decades.
I’m super busy right now and went to Kendall and was quoted $2200 for the 60k service. I then called Seattle just to price shop $1050. I use specialized imports when I don’t have time to do the PM my self, the only problem with them is anything other than an oil change can take a few days, but then we have an extra car so dosnt really matter to me.
