Look for the optional diff lock (left of the steering wheel, and decal on driver's door panel) and a 5 speed. Not much particular to that year, beyond those nice-to-haves. Look at the usual stuff - CV boots, odd coolent leaks - does it have some evidence of recent service (or any service)? Records? Check body panel labels and paint for repair evidence.

I know at least one fender was replaced. Said he has a "minor accident". I am wondering though if in 2000 SR5's came with 16's and painted fender flares. This vehicle has both. And I thought SR5's didn't have the flare. It does have chrome bumpers.

Thanks

If v6 and >100K, check that timing belt & water pump were done. The flares were an option, the 16" wheels were standard. People compain about the brakes, but you'll know in the test drive.

Here ya go.

All ya want to know and more. Other than looking for the obvious drips, should be a solid buy. Good luck, and let us know.

Some SR5s had flares and some didn't. There are so many combos of flares and painted/chrome bumpers, I doubt anyone can keep them straight. 2000s would be more likely to have painted flares and painted bumpers than earlier models.

I bought it.
