Locked out of vehicle. Power Remote nor Manual key will open vehicle

Someone on here replaced an actuator motor and didn’t hook the rod from the lock mechanism back into the actuator, so their manual key no longer worked. I seriously doubt a door would be like this from the factory but if you’ve ever had body work done on that door it’s possible I guess.

If you replaced the door lock actuator motors, check to see if the rod that connects to the key lock got reattached correctly.

Thank you for the positive note. Much appreciated. The locksmith had it open in 2 minutes. It started so I moved it into garage, parked it, disconnected battery cables and proceeded to pull apart Trim pieces to lift carpet and block it away from the floor boards to get more air flow. In doing so I came across a mess of aftermarket cabling for seat massage, gps locator (mex version doesn’t come with it stock), side and back up cameras (also aftermarket; junk). All poorly spliced in to who knows what at the door sills so who knows what shorts that was causing. All cleaned up now with waterproof sleeves over splice points.

Can anyone give me a link show me how to pull my dash? I am in this far, may as well get the rest of the aftermarket wire out.
And can anyone tell me what this is in picture. It’s a Belden 8216 RG wire. Mystery to me. More aftermarket?

That device with the RG wire is very likely an antenna of some sort. I don't know if it's OEM.

How was the fishing? And where? Okay, lol on the where.

Anyone else have an idea what this wire might be? I’m digging behind the dash but it goes deep.

I wouldn't bother pulling the dash, but that's just me.

Any warning lights on the dash when you started it?

It was antenna for aftermarket gps locator. History.

A general question for you all. Is it normal that I had water entering cabin almost immediately? All door frame seals look perfect. Door seals themselves look fine with the exception of each having separated from 2 fastening points right around the flexible wire housings. Remember I had 4 inches of water in the cabin within 5 minutes.

Yes, it's not a submarine. There are drain holes in the rockers and doors so that the truck doesn't rust from the inside-out.

Day 3 - Fans on by day and dehumidifier by night. Still a bit damp in spots and a touch of smell, but not too bad. Connected battery just now and fired it up. No warning lights and everything seems to be working except the stereo. All display and functions of stereo seem to work. But no sound. There was some loud popping from speakers on occasion when battery was connected, but nothing constant. No sound from AM, FM or Bluetooth. No sound from voice command either. Ideas where to look for that fix?

Forgot to mention. Got into door panel and found that rod for manual door lock was disconnected. It looks as though previous owner pulled it out of the socket and bent that rod to disable manual lock/unlock. Maybe for theft prevention. Being in Mexico the most common method is a screw driver in the lock so that would prevent that. I guess.

Be sure to dry under that piece of styrofoam in the drivers foot well.

This is why I pulled glove box and the rest. To clean this s*** out.

The catalog shows a "COMPUTER, MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE" under the passenger seat. That may have something to do with it.

Any place I can find that catalog you refer to online? And/or a diagram of that interface unit?
