Final Run Time And Date

I wasn't expecting to make it to a comp. until Sun. but was able to figure out a way although the time of morning is a little interesting. So here's the final deal so you can all spread the good word.

THURSDAY DEC. 21ST 8:30AM right off of the 15 freeway at Silverwood Lake. If memory serves me right there is a Chevron or Wendys on the north bound side. be there or be square. We will run it rain, shine, or what ever else comes our way. See you there.

we will be on channel 21... I'll post again Tues/Wed.

Sam

Ian thank you. I'm now withdrawing your "right of MUD" (although that's never stopped you in the past bro)

Anybody wanna drive out together to Silverwood?? I am in the Downey/ Bell gardens area!

Sam, there's a McD's on the east side of I-15 at the SR-138/Silverwood Lake exit. Big parking lot, easy place to meet and hang out while you wait for everyone.

I am not sure where downey is, but I am in Redondo Beach if there is a place on the way to meet up, I am all for it. Whoever else wants to meet up to caravan let me know...the more the merrier.

I have a feeling that my first run with the lift is still going to leave me as the midget 80.;)

anyone have a clue as to how early should I leave the South Bay area to get there?

Will I be gone the entire day for the most part?

Smit

Smit, Downey is just south of Whittier, Santa Fe Springs area...how long you been in SoCal?

I'd give you 1.5-2 hrs to from Redondo Beach to get to the meeting place. Some might say you could do it in an hour but giving yourself that much time makes it less stressful.

I'd also let your significant other know/expect that you'll be gone all day and not back home until early evening at the earliest! Last year, that snow run happened during a pretty significant storm and they closed all the roads going back down except one and it had multiple accidents right where the elevation changed rain to ice to snow. I didn't get back to Riverside until 9 PM

Unfortunately I am a definitely out for both days. Wheel hard and have fun.

I am a confirmed in (assuming the restaurant does not have a sudden NEED for me to be there). 85 SA TOY and myself will be meeting up somewhere near Downey. If SilverCruiser is able to make it then I might try to caravan with him also.

Add me, see you at 0830,

as of right now I am in!

I am gon2srf on a few of the other forums. Is there still room for a lowly FJC? I have a 3" lift, 33 BFG Mud's, Sliders, skids, ARB bumper, Warn 9500 winch. Read the thread and can't tell if you are meeting at Wendy's or at the McDonald's 15/138 at 8:30AM. I'll bring a set of chains for 2 tires if I'm welcome.

Lowly FJC? More like Flying HIGHLY! You need to put this pic of your flying rig as your Avatar here in MUD. Welcome to the SoCal 80s section.
