LJ78 | Instrument Cluster Gremlins (1 Viewer)

I am having a strange issue with my instrument gauges on my LJ78.

It all starter after my alternator failed and blew the main fuse link on the battery.

Finally got everything sorted today just to find my fuel gage and temp sensor is not working, including the hand brake light is continually on even with the handbrake released.

I have tested continuity on the oil and fuel gage wires back to the instrument cluster harness. All is looking good.

There are 4 connections on the harness giving a 12V reading.

The 15A engine fuse has not blown.

I am using the below wiring diagram.

Will be connecting a small 12V battery tomorrow the the cluster for further testing.

Any ideas or advise will be greatly appreciated.

Issue found - Was a loose earth connection on the PCB blue sheet at the back of the cluster. Seems it pulled away from the housing (old age and heat would be the culprit). Now I just need to find a permanent fix
