Congrats on the Job! Denver is awesome, what industry you in?

I like the smoked look on those lights, is that just sprayed? Also on the headlights, did you black out the surrounds when you did the upgrade?

Really liking it all. I have my grill off right now trying to figure out what to do with it.
Thanks! I’m in the construction industry, more specifically in management.

Yes the corner lights are a combination of tint spray, some black, and clear coat. The headlight shrouds are painted flat black and those were done when I did my retrofit a while ago.
Man, your headlights look amazing. This is by far the best looking LX headlight conversion I have ever seen, and haven't even seen the light output! Did you do anything special to paint the housing? Is it just flat black spray paint? Did you scuff it up first?

Tell me about the LED halos? I haven't seen any pictures of them turned on.

Fantastic job.
You guys are flattering me, really. Unfortunately my output isn’t the best at the moment as I’m having issues with a ballast, it’ll be fixed soon enough.

The shrouds are just scuffed a little, sprayed with adhesion promoter, and shot with flat black.

The halos are currently only wired in the Amber configuration as a secondary turn signal, but I plan on redoing it in the future to have full functionality of the white/Amber features. I’m constantly switching up my lights so I’m sure their functionality will change a few times.

Got back from Colorado a few days ago! Unfortunately this trip was more friend/work related, so I didn't get to do anything fun with the cruiser :( However, it was a very successful trip that will lead towards more adventures!

If you've been following my build, or know me personally, you may remember that I am currently in school. Well thanks to copious amounts of alcohol and caffeine, I am finally graduating and moving on with my life. With that being said, I gotta pay the bills somehow, so this past week I met with several companies in the Denver area for interviews and what-not. Not even a week later, I'm proud to report that I have landed a job in Denver and will be moving up there this summer!

Other than that, the trip was fairly uneventful, mainly consisting of some snowboarding and roaming around the city. I got to meet up with a good buddy of mine who I just convinced to get a 100 series. Unfortunately, I have yet to convince him to register on mud (he claims he's too busy), so I will save the introduction for later. On to the pics!

Work on the cruiser might slow down some as I focus more on finishing school and moving, but I'll still be satisfying the itch in some way. I think this weekend's chore will be painting the grill, that chrome stands out

Congrats on the new gig in Denver! Also, congrats on finishing school. Super jealous that you landed a job in Denver. I'm up there 3-4 times a year and absolutely LOVE the entire front range.
