Lets Talk About Mirrors.

I know we have talked this over in the past but I am looking at going with a different style mirror on the pig this time.

I thought about using the Japanese styled mirrors that bolt onto the upper fenders, I also thought about using a more up to date mirror like those found on the mid to late model GM and Ford Trucks.


Ideas?

I hate the old bolt on mirrors used mainly for towing and such...

Some people don't like the Van/Truck mirrors but I do. They will probably work better and are tougher. I have two pairs of stock mirrors but my truck once had and might again have the larger mirrors.

i was this close to finding the right motorcycle mirrors one day to mount in the turn signal holes on my fenders, i didnt, but still think about it from time to time.
i think those 70 mirrors look pretty good, any new style or larger size though doesnt jive with the classic lines IMOP.

every now and then you can find them cheap on ebay from a dealer in tennessee . . . they can come in chrome or black . . . just keep a look out!

I have a set of stock mirrors with the plastic gasket thing. Both in fine shape and looking for a new home.
