Add me to the list as jealous of the OEM rear tire carrier and offset license plate tailgate. 😂 Sure would be nice if that set could fall into my lap in natural white, haha.

Here’s natural white in its natural habitat:

Have you done the entire Rim trail? I usually come down the switchbacks and shoot over to Potash back into Moab. I know you need an overnight pass.

I did. Me and my friend with a basically stock Tacoma did the whole thing. We did it 'backwards', ending with the switchbacks. I think we bought our passes in January or February for a July overnight.

We only had one night but when I do it again, I'll definitely take two. It was also absolutely stupid hot (108-110), and the 100 struggled with the heat - boiling fuel plus having to open the hood whenever I'd stop to get more ventilation. When driving and stopped, I'd have to rev the engine to like ~1500 rpm to get enough airflow through the radiator. By the end of the trail I was down to under 1/4 tank of fuel left, which was a bit uncomfortable.

I've got a new mishimoto radiator, denso fan clutch, and metal heater tees with heater hoses ready to go when warmer weather arrives. I also built a double-layer heatshield extension to shield my fuel lines from the catalytic converter. Hopefully fewer heat issues if I ever have the bad luck to wind up in Moab during 110+ degree days again.

Very nice. Yep, my old 80 would like to run nice and hot through there and even my 100's scare me a bit with their temp guages. I'd always crack hood when stopped. Seemed to always get hot around the Thelma and Louise cliff. We've started going in March instead of summer which has helped immensely, obviously. Except, it's the same week as the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab. ;)

Please keep us updated with the pics on color-matching the trim, etc. I have this exact vehicle with access to TRD Pro Tundra wheels I've been thinking about putting on and color-matching the side trim.

I color-matched mine (post 426) with rattle can…then separate front/rear minor collisions got me professionally color-matched bumpers.

Sides could use a touch-up after 10 years.

Yesterdays trail went through some giant cedars in northern Morocco. If you look closely you’ll notice the white 100!
