What nice racks you guys have shown! Now it is even harder for me to pick one lol (I want them all). I've been thinking about purchasing this Prinsu Rack but I wanna know if anyone from the forum has it and the feeback about the noise!

Noise is minimal when you factor in AT tires and the brace face.

Question for y’all.

I really like the look of the Prinsu rack but love all the accessories the Front Runner Slim Line 2 provides. Anyone know if front runner accessories play well with the Prinsu rack?

Ok thank you so much for the feedback. If you can give your two cents, from these roof racks, would you choose Front Runner, Prinsu or Eezi-Awn?
If I could do it again, I’ll probably get a Rhino rack platform. It has load ratings and is much more beneficial.

Tbh, this prinsu rack is more ascetically pleasing.

What have you thrown on your prinsu that wasn’t able to support it? I’ve had north of 250lbs on mine and drove 10,000 miles all over the US a couple years ago.

Ive post my rack before, but I'll detail what I've done.

I have a Kings aluminium rack, designed for a Patrol but sitting in my ladder racks. Sacrilege I know.

I've attached it to the ladder racks with some brackets I fabricated myself. Its only held at the ends, but I dont really load up much weight onto it since over half of it is solar panel.

Overall it does exactly what I want. Its relatively light, and I would do it again 10/10.
The only downside about their rack is the corners are a moulded piece of plastic. So the members on the ends are only held in place with some screws, and has no real structural integrity. So when I hung my shower awning off the back member, the torque would twist it out of the position. But in the grand scheme of things its not a big negative, and just needs some smarts on my behalf to reinforce.

In terms of noise I have noticed a little more noise, but I would hardly call it noisey over the 3" exhaust, and big tyres. But I definitely noticed the quiet when I had it off.

Anyone have the ARB Base Rack?

I have been thinking about picking one up but haven't seen anyone on here with it yet. I like the look, low profile and different accessories for it. View attachment 3092749
I have one mounted on my truck. The accessories are nice, and if you use the T-slot attachment, it allows you to use even more stuff from Rhino or Front runner. MAke sure you either get the light bar or check for the fairing. My rack (part of the initial batch for the US) did not have a fairing included, but it looks like that issue is fixed. Wind noise is not too noticeable with the fairing mounted. Love the low-profile look.

I have been looking at the Bowfin for a while. How much noise does it add? And could you remove that front bar that goes over the sunroof?
The rack is the quietest aftermarket rack I've had. And yeah - you can arrange the crossbars to keep the space above the sunroof clear.
