Yikes! Are those the original OEM axles?

Same thing happend to me on my 3rd gen 4runner right after I lifted it. I replaced them with some CV's from NAPA which lasted a few years before they started leaking grease. When I replaced them the second time I replaced the compression type clamp that come on the CV's from NAPA with clamps similar to these (Toyota FJ Cruiser CV Axle Repair Clamps Kit for Leaking Boots after Lift Kit) and they have been good for about 4 years now. Something to look into if you rebuild or replace the leaking CV's

Isn't this just from the new angle squeezing out the grease? Happens on my drivers side but not to this extent.

Rig looks great!

I'll be putting my lift on this weekend, so this is good to know. I have those preferred clamps sitting in my garage for 4 years - bought 'em for my Tacoma and never used them. So I guess I'll put them on while lifting it.....

Yeah. 110k plus on them. Guess the lift did it.

Freddy I've got a whole bag of the smooth side worm clamps. I can send you two of em and it'll fix it up no prob.

Get yourself a turkey baster or cajun injector to put some cv grease back in there under the lip of the boot

So I noticed on the pic of your lift install, that the cab mounts were not cut. Any issues running the tire into the mount off road?

How do those Coopers sound on the street?
