Hi Bill, we did figure out a coating application for the boards that will make them weather resistent. PM me and we can discuss further. Thanks!
 
I'm interested, since, I just upgraded to HID lights on my troopy. I think you've put a lot of thought and time into this. Can you take photos of the LED marker and brake lights on at night beside another FJ with the classic bulbs? I would like to see the difference.

That might be tough to do seeing as my cruiser is currently out of commission. What I can tell you is there is a significant difference. The pics don't do the lights justice. They are bright! I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

I cant comment on longevity as I haven't mounted the lights or finished my build but as for install it was easy. I did have to separate the running light board from the lower turn signal board to install in my non oem front housings from ccot but no big deal there. Basically if you can operate a tube of silicone and do basic wiring it's cake. I have only put power to them on a table but they seem nice and bright.
