Not news... but...
...sufficiently airing down puts tough sidewalls...shorter wheel metal...and those perty side treads to use. Two trucks ahead of our group were stuck here. Neither of them aired down... Full disclosure—we stacked rocks to get them up ahead of us and clear the trail...but I post this because these video stills show how helpful it is when tires are allowed to wrap around & absorb stuff....up and over you go...

With 20’s I’d be pinch-cutting.
On 17’s at 18psi it’s like sticky finger grabs.

Grat pics @Markuson! I used to live very close to Cedar breaks and most people don't stop to enjoy some of the lesser known monuments like this. Brings back some great memories. The trailhead for rattlesnake creek/ashtown gorge starts just down the road from where you were standing. Not a vehicle trail, but a pretty amazing downhill hike if you ever have time.

I was only able to make it to LCDC on Saturday, but I am so glad I went! Had a great time seeing familiar faces and getting to meet new people as well. Thanks to @Oakleyguy for leading our group on Bunce/T-33!

I managed a pic of Neowise when we were at the Great Sand Dunes (bottom of the photos). It was cool to be able to spot it with the naked eye. 30 sec exposure on the Nikon helps too. No glorious truck in my photos though.

We lucked out big time with the fires and timing. The air around here is soo smokey right now. I can hardly see the flatiron(first row of mountains near me). That particular fire i think would have made kelly flats and 7 mile creek a no go.

Our house and yard is covered in ash... we got super lucky with the timing of LCDC.
