Looks like the @Markuson Imogene run was the first to reach capacity.

I guess the promotional video did its job. Good luck, Saturday Imogene crew, you're gonna need it. 🤣
Lol!
I’m thinking it probably filled up because most people did NOT see my goofy video! Ha ha

Seriously though… I was beginning to worry that some might not realize it was a joke…!
I actually DO have more than two teeth. :hillbilly:

I just want to bring these to the current page - in case some people missed it during the holiday weekend. It is a pretty accurate depiction of what wheeling with Mark is like 🤣

You evil man! :hillbilly:

Are you suggesting we have a chocolate milk exchange during the Saturday Imogene run? Because if you are, I’m in.

Oh...! Yes! I’ve only ever handed chocolate milk others....and in all my days, no one has ever handed one to me. That would be a FIRST. :)

Damn, those trails filled up fast!

I signed up for Imogene, Yankee Boy, and Black Bear Pass.

Was hoping to do a run with you @Markuson, maybe next year! lol

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but the trails I signed up for online didn't appear in my app. I had signed up for a couple of trails and then they disappeared, and when I tried to re-add them they were full. I had to delete my Sched app and redo everything, and that seemed to do the trick. Sucks I lost my first choices for trails but I wanted to throw that out there if others are having problems. I think it could be related to the fact I've used Sched for other events, so it could have been "confused" even though I merged the accounts (multiple times) weeks ago.

Quick HEADS UP!

Drivers... If you picked your trails...wooo! :)
But...Are you sure your trail groups can SEE YOU?
I thought I was all set for that...but alas, I was still invisible. Though **I** could see my presence on various trails...no one else could...because I still hadn’t flipped the “PUBLIC PROFILE & SCHEDULE switch to ON.

To make sure drivers and leaders can see you...do this on your phone app:
(scroll down farther for web-site-based Sched)

Tap at the bottom of your phone/tablet Sched app screen where you see “My Account...”
F4F3C28E-47C4-4DC9-A116-6E0F0FBFBDB5.jpeg

Which takes you here...
Make sure you have flipped this this switch to ON.

**If yours was OFF...don’t worry...
-You were still registered for your trails. :)
It’s just that no one else could see you on the list.

So... If you see lists that are mark “FULL” but that do not seem to show a full list...it is most likely because some drivers didn’t know to flip this switch.

On the web page version...
Once logged in, click here:

Then “Settings” here:

Then scroll down s bit to this switch:

Tada!

We can now see that you are on the trail.

:steer:

PS. For those on iPhone or iPad.. here’s a direct link to the Sched app:
Sched by Sched
‎Sched

PS. Some may need to switch it on...
..then log off and back on again.

Ok i was able to finally get signed up for some of the trails. I had to sign out and sign back in from the app to get it working.

On a side note, i passed my ham radio technicians exam yesterday.

Good for you on the ham license, I still need to do that. I was going to suggest the app. I was unable to change my profile to public via the website. It would change and I’d save but when I’d go back it would always switch back. Once I changed it on the app, it stuck. The app seems to work better than the website so anyone having issues, I’d recommend trying the app.

Sorry to hear you can’t make it...but sounds like a lot of good stuff going on.

Water pump and radiator are inevitable...so at least it happened now, rather than on a trail in Ouray.

Good of you to open the spot soon enough for others to plan. Maybe next year? :)

Markuson it is a bummer that we cannot make it as me and the daughter had a blast last year. We do have quite a few good things coming up, I was hoping to have this event included in our fun. I already had the water pump just in case but the radiator had no signs of letting go. It did not crack in the regular spot that I have seen others crack. I was looking at the all aluminum radiator replacement that they have for Tundras called KOYARAD. Does anyone think that that would be a direct fit for the cruiser? I figured that there was a waiting list for the event and there was no use trying to hold up a spot to jut see if I could make repairs in time for the event. Might as well share the love. I will definitely plan for next year. I guess I will just work on the Cummins trucks I have this summer...

So I'm looking at Sched, looks like Thursday is Black Bear 2, Friday imogene, and Saturday yankee boy and Governor basin. Much thanks to Cole for helping me out.
Looks like I'll be leaving from Maryland on Wednesday the 24th, Denver on Saturday. May try to hit a Royals game on the way out.

Hopefully everything will open up by the time the event kicks off. Alpine loop is totally closed as Engineer Pass had a big avalanche and will be closed until late July. Black Bear and Ophir are closed as well.

I’m headed over to Ouray tomorrow to check in on the area.

We had a ton of snow this year. Over 500” at the higher areas. My house is at 8,315 and we saw record snow that hasn’t been seen since the 70’s.

Chris.

Also -

We have had snow off and on even into last week. I know that Wolf Creek is still getting snow! Crazy to think you can ski into July.

I’ll be heading to Ouray 3 days early...and one reason is to scope out alternatives should the various passes be buried. I know several other trail leaders are as well.

Good news is...the entire region is absolutely gorgeous....so if push comes to shove (if avalanche comes to shovel? :rimshot: ), we’ll have a blast no matter what, in one of the most amazing regions anywhere...come hell or high frozen water. :rimshot: x2... hehe

PS. Cole (@indycole ) has been going to Ouray every year since he was a kid, and there are others who are also super familiar with the area. All shall be awesome. :)

This happens every year and we always end up ok. Also FJ Summit and 100's in the hills are the 2 weeks before ours so we'll get good reports on terrain from them. In some cases it's good to be last... :)
