Hello! New member, long time reader. I have a 2005 LC100 with a Fuel Filler Neck that is starting to leak. I've searched online and at my local dealers but the part is discontinued. What are the alternatives for this type of repair? I looked at my local NAPA to see if they have an aftermarket solution but nothing comes up.

Is it cracked or rusted? I would remove it and weld it (or JB Weld) it. Junkyard is another option.

are you certain it is the filler neck?
good used is an option.

Yes I've confirmed its the filler neck. The part # I look up is 77201-60780. I used to work at my local dealership and they checked with CAT (Central Atlantic Toyota) as well. It comes up as discontinued. If you can give me links to dealers showing its in stock I would be more than happy to purchase. Thanks for all the replies!

So I spoke to my parts guy. The part # you gave me does apply to my year LC however the production date of my vehicle does not fall within range of this specific part number. He said my VIN has an earlier build date so there was a change in something during this year. It could be a mounting bracket or some type of bend is different. There is only 1 showing in stock in the country. I’m debating on buying it just to try.

What is your VIN?

Your problem will be replacing it. If I remember correctly, it includes lifting the body and if your filler neck is rusted out, your body mounts will probably be rusted pretty bad too. I cut mine where the rusted hole was and ran wire wrapped filler neck replacement hose from the parts store.

I am in the same boat as you; I have a 2003 LC, manufactured 6/2003, and I need the same exact part number due to the date range of manufacture. It is baffling why I can find new OEM filler necks for older models, but for ones after.

I am waiting for this aftermarket supplier to re-stock, as I have confirmed my leak is at the fuel neck via smoke test. Fuel Tank Filling Neck Pipe For 2002 To 2005 Lexus Lx470 Suv 4WD4.7 Petrol 60780 | eBay - https://ebay.us/m/c6djjd

Have you had any luck determining what the core difference is between the 2 part numbers?

I have a 98-02 non-US filler neck (77201-60510) in my parts bin. It's not the correct filler neck for you but if you can somehow adapt or use for parts, PM me.

Thanks for the offer @hoser
I will have to pass on the part for now, as I'm still not certain of what the difference is between the parts, so I don't want to risk making a bigger project, or find out the part is totally incompatible.
