Anybody else planning on coming? Have I left anyone out? Those of you who have not paid please state how many are in your party and how you plan on paying. I can accept cash at the event if that is better for you. If you are planning on doing paypal you need to get it in.

Move me to the "Paid" list!
See y'all there on Friday!

I'll be bringing cash on Friday. Hope to bring the 62. Just changed an axle bearing and seal, and all the studs on that axle. checked all fluids and adjusted the rear brakes. I will take it off the jackstands and test drive it tomorrow:clap::):) :steer:
Indiandoc should be meeting us down there on Sat. If Uncle doesn't have him.

A couple of things we need.

A table or two. Does anyone know if the group camp has tables?
Lanterns
cookers. I know people have said they were bringing a couple please post below exactly what your bringing (propane, 1burner cooker, big pot, basket, tongs etc...)
Grill. Anyone know if they have a grill on site. If not we need to bring a grate an or a small grill.
Oyster shuckers
Good gloves

We need to figure out where we can get fire wood from.

Some sort of cart or wheel barrow would be nice to cart stuff in also.

Anything else I'm missing we need to ask for?

I have some oyster knives you can borrow. I think about 4-6.

Are you doing any frying? I have my double fryer that folds up and runs on propane that I will have down there. I know you will have a couple of turkey fryers for the boiling put for frying this works best. It has baskets and all. Good for fries and hush puppies. I might could take it over there for one night or the other but might need it back to fry some fish at lunch the next day. It's easy to move once the grease is poured out.

I have my charcoal smoker/grill down there, but it is big and hard to move w/out a trailer. I think a couple of us might can throw it in the back of my truck.

As far as firewood goes, I would try to buy some on the side of the road on the way down, or stop at a lowes or somewhere. Don't wait till you get down there, or your wallet will be sorry.

Here are a couple of pics of what I have down there.

troll, I just noticed the firewood comment.

if you are coming into beaufort on hwy21 there is a lumber guy after you pass garden's corner. garden's corner is where hwy 17 turn into hwy21.

located on google earth at:
lat 32°33'40.26"N
long 80°44'37.86"W

at the corner of old dawson acres road (dirt road) and hwy 21 (trask parkway). you cannot miss it. its a stack of firewood about 20 ft high and 60ft long.

Well that takes care of the firewood.

I am pretty sure the group site will have wood tables. Every RV site has a table, so I would think a site capable of sleeping that many people will have tables around.

Now we just need some gloves. I have my welding gloves that I use while smoking. Kinda big to eat with, but will be useful while loading oysters and pots.

Right up from the four seasons produce?

I think I can find it. I'll bring the hitch and haul and load up on my way in. I also found 2 more places that sell it closer. Action Tree Service and some guy who had an ad in the paper named Jemel. Got both numbers as a backup.
