hello, for my LC 80 , is showing the code 26,27 and 55 and when the engine light is on there is acceleration issue , not getting enough power to move, the mechanic checked it and said , The O2 sensors are aftermarket and not the correct type, and the wiring connector is corroded with a previously broken wire.
is that the real issue? or is there something else to

First of all you need to post more information on your vehicle
What model year, engine, transmission mileage etc. and any modifications, recent maintenance.
Sounds like your mechanic is right on with his analysis with the codes you listed. O2 sensors and plug corrosion is definitely the starting point.

yes, the oxygen sensors and the faulty connector could absolutely cause this. Same thing happened with my 1FZ-FE LC80.

Wait, do you actually have an 80 with issues, in addition to the LX470 that you just posted about in the wrong section? Is this a bit? An LLM doing research? Not to be rude, but I feel like we need to see a pic of the rig at this point!
sure man thats my two

Regarding the possible O2 sensor issue on the 94--- make sure that they get the right O2 sensors-- the 93/94 sensors take different sensors than the 95-97 even though the engines are the same. Lots of people mess that up. You can still get one of the OEM sensors for the 93/94 from Toyota-- and it can be used for both sensor locations in the 93/94. Other people have used NGK sensors which were the OEM maker. But don't use the Denso-- those are for 95-97.

There was a recent thread on this-- but now I can't find it to save my life.

Thanks you so much, how is this one is that the correct one

I don't know if I would trust that sensor.

The OEM sensor you can use for both locations on the 93/94 is 89465-69115

See it here

The NGK and other options are discussed in this thread

I will say that after reading that thread and others like it I don't want to mess with aftermarket. It is not worth the trouble.

i clicked the link but its nor currently available

I believe there's a whole thread about the availbility of these o2 sensors. Might pay to do a bit of a search, it will hopefully be fairly easy to find.

walker is pure junk. i have a lightly 10k mile used NTK sensor for sale. only removed for a diesel swap.

Bought this factory sensor from my local Toyota dealership. I have to warn you, they are NOT CHEAP when buying them from a stealership!

hello ,for my Lc 80 series 1994 , just changed two o2 sensors , its driving more better now but still the engine light again, and there is half problem remains with the acceleration on 1000 to 2000 rpm , any idea what will be it, the code is 26,27 and 55

okay, I have looked in the FSM, and I can't see a code 27, in the 1994 FZJ80 FSM.

26 = Air-Fuel Ratio Rich Malfunction
55 = no.2 knock sensor (probably needs replacing, only use genuine). Are you sure you have a code "27"? can you record your DTC and post the video so we can double check?

I found another Toyota source for 27, and it could be Sub-oxygen sensor signal or heater circuit fault.

After you record your flashes, remove the EFI fuse (not relay), for 30mins to reset the ecu. Some also disconnect the negative terminal as well.

Then start the vehicle and take it for a drive. Then rescan for codes again and see if theyre gone.

I also have a 94 LC and currently have the 25 & 26 CEL, no drivability issues. I just changed the plugs that had about 25k and the plugs look normal.

This is my second set of O2 Sensors, the 93 & 94 can only use the Toyota sensors 89465-69115, everything else with not work. My mechanic said the problem is the heater element on the O2 sensors.

If you are willing to wait for the O2 sensors and get them from over seas

the connectors on the loom side can also need replacing depending on age/mileage/condition.

I am in California - used these O2 sensors and passed smog with them.
