My favorite quote of the weekend by Cowboy, to my friend Ben Garrison who won the Toyota wheels:
"I'm already tired of you"
(all in jest of course, and very seriously funny!)

Big Thanks to Big Country, Greg & Charles for coordinating us getting the trac loc from BaerTrax to the rocks. It enabled us to have an extra day to wheel.
I had a great time singing with Mark, and hope the sour notes weren't tooo tooo bad on my part. Mark you are very talented!

For all of you that helped me look for the vid cam, I found it. Joey had packed it in his things by mistake, so it's all good. When I get it back, hopefully I'll post a youtube of the fun.

If any of you can make it back to the rocks on May 1-3 weekend, pleeeeze come down. Tentatively Matt Stell will be there again (El Mariachi, can you break away tooo?). You Cruisers are the most fun to wheel with, and we appreciate you including us in the fun.
Love & Kisses

What a great event.

Thanks, Butch and everyone from the Lonestar group. Hope to wheel with you again in the near future.

Maybe we will see some of you in Missouri for the GATOR event in Sept.

Just a quick note to Butch and the Lonestar crew - what a fantastic party! Had a great time again this year and can't help but be a little sad that we are going to lose the park for future events but.... I gota say..... I think you guys could host an event in the middle of I20 and it would be touted nearly as loudly by the participants as another Lonestar success. Fantastic effort and one I will remember fondly for may years to come. Truly - THANKS!

One of our guys (Jeff Davis) that made the event for the first time told me on Friday night that "nothing about this event sucked." I thought that pretty much summed it up. That was prior to him running over his dog though. Update: the dog was checked out by a vet here in town and was given a clean bill of health. Good thing he weighs 130#!

Later,

Wow, the fog is just clearing from all the fun over the weekend.I didn't think I could hang out till 4 AM and then crawl out at 8 and go wheeling for 4 days anymore but I did. Felt like a child on Christmas Eve afraid to go to bed because I would miss something. Hats off to Butch and Crew for one hell of an event, you guys can throw a Party.
My fingers are so sore I can hardly type from pickin so much but just wanted to say how much we here at Katemcy appreciate you guys. Say a prayer for all of us so we can continue this.

Randy

Did yall make it back without fault this time?

GREAT PICS had a great time

A big heartfelt thanks to Butch Baker and the Kruse's for making what I hope isn't the last Round-up, the best event I've attended. Thanks to Randy and Mark A for the guitar lessons, loved it! And Butch, it was Dublin Blues, heard it on XM less than an hour out of Brady.

Roger and I hauled ass back to Tennessee, and after a brief stop at the shop to transfer my rig and my junk to my truck, I pulled into my driveway in Chattanooga at 6:20a, took a shower that I'm sure left a big ring on the tile and made it to work right on time at 7...and I'd do it again in a heartbeat to relive the weekend!

Thanks to friends both old and new. We'll see ya again soon!
